Fear and Faith

Hello everyone... How is it going? It's been a long time I spoke to you. I have been thinking of this for almost a month now and finally the day has come. I hope everyone is keeping safe and staying healthy. Today, let me tell you a real-life story of a little village girl named 'Madhumitha'. After knowing more about her, she is really an inspiration to me for the past few years. Hope you will also enjoy her story. The story has three chapters.   Chapter 1: Tender years Madhu was born in a middle-class family of three members - her dad, her mom and her grandma. Due to some birth time issues and frequent infections, Madhu had to spend most of her tender age in hospitals. By age one, she had to undergo three surgeries on her fragile body. Her parents were really worried if she could ever survive. Fortunately, their deep faith and care brought Madhu back to her normal healthy life. As Madhu's parents were working, she was nurtured mostly by her grandma. Her grandma used to...

A story of food poisoning

#BanDirtyFood #SayNoToRestaurantsExploitation #RightToGoodFood Who all are there to raise up their hands to raise against dirty food providing restaurants in Kerala? Along with our innocent kids, we pay the huge amount they ask for, only to get some good food and drinking water during our travels. On 07Oct2018, we had a travel to Mannarasala Temple. On the way, we had our ever-worst fish curry meals from the popular #HotelMahalekshmi, Ammachiveedu, near Kollam Collectorate. Food poisoning for the past 2 days. Suffering from diarrhoea, one day admitted at hospital on drips. Prescribed antibiotics for five days. What else to be suffered for a person to have some bites of lunch from a popular restaurant in Kollam. #FoodAndSafety Lords, please ensure #RightToGoodFood to every citizen in India.

Summarizing coursera course - "Learning How to Learn"

Image
Time is now 12.30PM. Remembering the good old, Engineering college days when we used to sit back late nights to complete our lengthy assignments.  Here I am, 11 years past my graduation staying late to complete assignment for my coursera course - "Learning how to learn - Powerful mental tools to master tough subjects". This is the true essence of teaching - To reach deep into the hearts of each of the students, not even bounded in a classroom. Dr.Barbera Oakley and Dr.Terrence Sejnowski does 100% justice to their online course.  Thank you very much for this amazing course. Waiting patiently for even more helpful MOOC like this from her team. Even though, I started for completing my assignment, the more I dig deeper into that, the more interested I became. I am very much fascinated at the plethora of ideas the faculties could deliver in an open course like this. For the benefit of everyone and for myself, I am putting down a deep summary of all the ideas covered in th...

Rest in peace, Balabhaskar ji...

Is God too jealous listening to the magical violin bytes of him? Is that the reason he being called too early? No words to express the feelings. Can't ever forget the TV show 'Confusion' in Kairali TV since then we've been following you. Will miss your violin magic & the serene smile, Balabhaskar ji..

An inspiring singing by a cute little girl.

Past few days are kind of lazy that I started feeling to get bored of my vacation. Unexpectedly I came to notice a 6 year old young girl singing two famous malayalam film songs in a TV reality show. I don't know how speechless I became listening to those songs that I bursted into tears towards the end of her singing. Some thoughts flashed through my mind in a split of a second. "I am here, 32 year old healthy woman, passing her vacation in its worst lazy mood. A little girl who has just bloomed into this world singing like her reaching the stars, delighting the veteran judging panel and enthusiastic audience. Don't you feel ashamed of your laziness, Mrs.Honey?" I am kind of energized after this programme. I searched in youtube for her video and repeatedly saw her song three times that day itself. That's it. Open out your eyes and observe what is going on in this beautiful planet. You will soon get rejuvenated and get rid of all your negative feelings. Bless...

Back to my blog after long 7 years

Hey! Back to my blog after long seven years. All these years, I have grown physically and matured mentally. My kid is in 2nd grade now. My passion for arts and software engineering still continues. Now I am on a vacation relieved from my first organization after working there for long 11 years. It was a terrifying decision to move out of my organization. Result of countless sleepless nights gambling thoughts in my mind and ultimately decided to make it happen. I was confused even at my last working day to stay with my company or not. But now I am getting back to normal state. I am enjoying the thrill of doing ABSOLUTELY nothing and the serene state my lonely day-times gives me.. That is it! One can be joyful doing nothing too. See you again.. Bye for now....

My linux kernel got panicked!!

Last day I faced an issue which I couldn't yet solve. I am trying to implement USB bulk transfer on my OMAP EVM gadget using customized gadgetfs sample application. The application worked fine on linux kernel version 2.6.29. But when I upgrade to 2.6.37, kernel panic occured when USB enumeration is tried. It starts with line : " possible recursive locking detected". Understood that the musb driver crashed. I couldn't get any other clue to solve the issue yet.
